The Fujairah Government Media Office was established by Emiri Decree No. 10 of 2014, issued by His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, on July 21, 2014.
The office aims to provide various media outlets with news related to the Ruler and the Government of Fujairah and to cover their activities. It also organizes press conferences related to the Ruler and the government, coordinates with media representatives to attend these conferences, arranges interviews and media appearances for the Ruler, the Crown Prince, and government officials, and monitors the broadcasting, publishing, and public impact of these engagements.
The Fujairah Government Media Office serves as an umbrella organization that brings together the media offices and centers of government departments to ensure the highest levels of inter-agency coordination, accurate information verification, and unified media messaging.
The office monitors and analyzes media publications and public opinion trends regarding global, Arab, and national developments, as well as news about the Emirate of Fujairah and its events. It also tracks news and analyses related to government activities and officials, preparing reports that summarize monitoring and analysis in a scientific and methodical manner.
Additionally, the Fujairah Government Media Office preserves, documents, and archives interviews and media appearances of the Ruler, the Crown Prince, and government officials. It also issues periodic and special publications.
The office organizes workshops and specialized media training sessions, manages media projects and events for various occasions, and oversees the "Government Communication and Media Team," the first of its kind in the UAE. This team acts as a governmental media body comprising media coordinators from government departments, institutions, and authorities.

The Fujairah Government Media Office strives to be an effective official source for providing the media with accurate news and information about the Ruler, the government, and all its departments, authorities, and institutions. It ensures the delivery of the government's message in a clear, objective, and transparent manner, adhering to the highest standards and best practices.
The Amiri Diwan Library houses approximately 10,000 titles, including books, volumes, references, and dictionaries covering a wide range of knowledge fields such as social sciences, philosophy, religions, general knowledge, history, geography, political science, law, fine arts, language, literature, science, agriculture, and technology. It also features a large collection of books related to the United Arab Emirates.
The library provides borrowing services exclusively for employees of the Amiri Diwan and its affiliated departments and sections. External borrowing is allowed only with prior approval from the Media Office. The library welcomes visitors of all ages for study, reading, and research, offering dedicated spaces equipped with computers and internet access. It is open daily from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
The library follows the Library of Congress Classification System for organizing and cataloging subjects, which arranges and categorizes various knowledge topics alphabetically in English.
